The Canine MD Project is an independent research study conducted by mushroom industry professionals and veterinarians with an interest in canine health. Our team has multiple years of experience and a broad background in the science, cultivation, and dosing of fungi as well as canine health and supplementation. This self-administered study is an attempt to identify the correct dosing ranges for sub-threshold microdoses of entheogenic fungi for canines.
-
Our preliminary findings show that there is no toxicity in small amounts of entheogenic fungi for dogs. While extreme cases are rare, the dosing of entheogenic fungi based on your dog's weight and age are reliable factors taken into account in order to ensure your dog's health and safety.

You’ll need to Sign-up, once triaged we will reach out and setup an appointment with our Veterinarian team to determine your dog’s eligibility. Once admitted to the study you will need to work with one of our local technicians or your veterinarian to have blood drawn from your dog 2 times. Once before beginning your dog’s 30 day protocol and at the completion. You will also need to submit a weekly C-BARQ behavioral evaluation, for a minimum of 3 times. The C-BARQ evaluation comes directly from the University of Pennsylvania and is one of our partners in interpreting the data collected.
